WELCOME AHSAA SOFTBALL!

The City of Oxford and Choccolocco Park proudly welcomes the 2019 AHSAA East Regional Softball Tournament! This postseason tournament features 56 high school softball teams from around the region in classifications 1A-7A, competing to earn their spot in the AHSAA State Softball Tournament in Montgomery. Starting May 9th through the 11th, you can expect to see the best of the best high school softball the state of Alabama has to offer. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out on all the action.

The City of Oxford is honored to host such an event, and expects record breaking attendance at Choccolocco Park. Our restaurants, hotels and stores are more than ready for this exciting event to come into town, as well as the citizens of Oxford. We are all delighted to host such a prestigious event as this that allows us to showcase just how much Oxford has grown and is continuing to grow.

PARK RULES

  1. Unauthorized use of park is prohibited
  2. No littering
  3. Park in designated areas only
  4. No overnight parking
  5. Proper attire required
  6. No throwing or hitting balls into fences
  7. Drugs and alcohol prohibited
  8. Tobacco, smoking, and vaping prohibited
  9. No outside coolers- properly marked team coolers only
  10. No fireworks or any open flame
  11. No pets allowed in sports complex (Pets on a leash are welcome on walking trails around the lake. Please pick-up after them.)
  12. No skateboards, scooters, hover boards, or skates
  13. No sunflower seeds, shelled nuts, or gum
  14. No climbing on fences, bleachers, railings, or trees
  15. No unauthorized use of planes, drones, or rockets
  16. Disorderly conduct or physical/verbal assault from players, coaches, or spectators will not be tolerated

Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate removal from park.
